Acidic HER activity - Potential of Zero Charge - Structure/Composition correlations in Pt systems
Idea or experiment planPt films exhibiting lateral heterogeneity (defects, doping atoms) may show different potential of zero charge (pzc) and activity for acidic HER, understanding the correlation between the structural features and the pzc may help in the design of new catalysts. So a tool for probing the PZC locally would help to advance the influence of local structure on the interactions at the interface and reactivity.
